Dewey Burke

Former Tar Heel basketball player Dewey Burke says final exams are stressful for most students, and the basketball players are no exception.

Not only do they have their finals to work on, but the eyes of the nation are on their performance on the basketball court as they were last weekend against Kentucky. 

Burke says UNC makes sure the players don’t fall behind in the classroom.

During his time at UNC, Burke says he particularly enjoyed several business classes.  He says being a member of the basketball team is just like having a part time job in terms of time commitment.  However, with so much interest in their efforts, mentally it does take a lot of focus.
