To Joseph Haj, the producing director of PlayMakers Repertory Company and co-director of “The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickelby”, the phrase ‘go big’ refers to their current project.

The Tony Award-winning play was adapted by David Edgar, who consulted on the project and spent time at the theater during early rehearsals.

The play will be presented in two parts beginning on November 11th and running through December 20th.  Both parts of the play will last approximately 3 and a half hours.  There will be two marathon theater sessions where part one and two will be performed back-to-back with a dinner break in between.  PlayMakers will have boxed dinners from Whole Foods Market available for purchase. 

Haj says there is a growing audience for long form narratives in a sound bite driven world.
