Lt. Kevin Gunter says Chapel Hill Police apprehended three criminals who fled in a black car after they were spotted tampering with televisions in the Eastgate Radio Shack.

Christopher Rein, Angela Eastman and Christopher Churchya were each charged with felony larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny.  Marijuana was found in the car, leading to misdemeanor possession with intent to sell and deliver charges for Eastman and Churchya.  There was also a child in the car, leading to misdemeanor child abuse and neglect charges for all three.

Officers found stolen Gamestop merchandise in the car in addition to the items from Radio Shack.  Lt. Gunter said the total worth of the heist was substantial.

Rein, Eastman and Churchya were taken to Orange County jail, with bond set at $85,000 for Eastman, and higher for Rein and Churchya.
